Yes! Finally, it's over!!!!
Pinning Ceremony...a tradition among nurses to have a mentor nurse pin the nursing pin onto the graduating nurse--a welcoming into the nursing profession. Peggy, Lori's advisor pinned her.
Lori wore nursing whites and a traditional cap that nurses from Portland Community College use to wear--a tradition that stopped in the early 1990's. Each nursing school uses it's own cap design. Lori found this one on line, along with a white nurse uniform.
